I'm so excited to present this simple and delicious Korean Bulgogi recipe with ground beef. It's a fast dish, made in one wok or large pan. And just for the record, I am Korean. You know when you see a "Korean" recipe that has siracha sauce in it, it's made by someone who doesn't know WTF he or she is talking about. Siracha is Thai, okay? We are different! The sauce is made from soy sauce, rice vinegar, and gochugaru (고추가루). If you don't live near an Asian grocery store, then get it on Amazon.

To help out The Husband with his workout routine, I decided to make these healthy bounty bites: chocolate oat balls rolled in coconut. Let me tell you how much I appreciate him working out. :) So I want to encourage him with these are little balls of deliciousness. For an added dose of goodness, you can add some protein powder to the chocolate, which will hide the chalky taste. These healthy bounty balls are also a good snack, a breakfast bite, or a homemade gift for Christmas.

Try this broccoli and cheese casserole with fresh broccoli recipe if you want to bury the icky taste of broccoli! So, I hate broccoli. So does The Husband. But it's so good for you that he's been forcing himself to eat it. My two cents: smother it in cheese. Lots and lots and lots of cheese. Cheese makes everything so good. You know what could make this even better? Bacon! You could throw some of bacon in this casserole, too. But this casserole features cheese and broccoli, lots of both.

This Tubby custard recipe is just in time for Easter ... or anytime Teletubbies is on! It's been a long time my kids watched Teletubbies, but I remember how crazy they were about them when they were little. Being girls, they all loved Po. Anyway, their custard just looks so fun and yummy! It's actually just regular custard with bright and bold colors. I've included the remaining colors as well, in case your little one loves Tinky Winky (Purple), Dipsy (Green), or La-La (Yellow).

Craving a McD’s shake? Well, here’s a copycat shamrock shake recipe … with matcha! I think Shamrock Shakes were on my brain because of St. Patrick’s Day, and also everyone in my house was talking about how McDonald’s changed their shakes into “gourmet” shakes, which just means that they get to charge you 3x more than they previously did for exactly the same thing. It has a bit of peppermint, too. This knockoff is so good, you don’t need to leave your house. #StPatricksDay

I've made the entire rounds of different Pad Thai recipes with different meats, and now it's time for Pad Thai with pork. I'm not the biggest fan of pork, but it cooks up much the same way as chicken and in this recipe, it's surrounded by all those delicious Thai flavors. With this recipe, I made use of some pre-cooked rotisserie pork that I bought on a grocery store special. The pre-cooked rotisserie pork from the grocery store adds a flavorful twist to this Pad Thai recipe.

I'm so happy you're here! I began this lifestyle site in 2012. I live in Pennsylvania with my husband, the youngest child (the oldest two have since moved out!), my dog, Joe, and my cat. I believe in sustainable living and doing what makes you happy. Recently, I started writing novels.

I was talking about my site the other day, and someone made a recipe request: McDonald's Sweet and Spicy Jam copycat recipe! It's the first request that I've had. This recipe took quite a while to figure out, mostly because I never had it. So I had to do a bunch of reading online of what it was supposed to taste like, along with the ingredients list on the little container itself. If you've ever tasted it, give me a heads up about how authentic it is. Either way, I've heard it's pretty good!

Awesome McDonald’s Sweet and Spicy Jam Sauce Copycat Recipe

This is a wonderful recipe for how to make homemade strawberry jam. You gotta trust me, it's so much better than the store bought stuff, which contains all sorts of preservative and other yucky stuff. And it only has three ingredients: strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. I love to collect strawberries from my patch of evergreens. They are bursting with flavor ... but I don't get that many of them. I freeze them and make this jam. But don't worry, you can use store bought strawberries, too.
