Instructions
Begin by preparing all the ingredients - peel and devein the shrimp, slice the beef into thin strips, chop the vegetables, mince the garlic, and grate the ginger.
In separate bowls, marinate the shrimp with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and the beef with the remaining soy sauce and some minced garlic. Allow them to marinate for at least 20-30 minutes.
In a hot wok or skillet, add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and sear the marinated beef strips until they are browned. Remove and set aside. In the same wok, add another tablespoon of oil and cook the shrimp until they turn pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
In the same wok, add a little more oil if needed and stir fry the assorted vegetables until they are slightly tender but still crisp.
Add the cooked shrimp and beef back to the wok with the vegetables. Mix in the oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and grated ginger. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Serve the Shrimp and Beef Stir Fry over steamed rice, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
