Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line the 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and remove it from the heat when completely melted.
Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until the batter is smooth.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
