Almond tiramisu is a fancy Italian dessert that mixes almond and coffee flavors in a creamy filling. It's not too hard to make, and it's great for people who love desserts and coffee. You can make it ahead of time, and it's enough for 8 servings. You'll spend about 30 minutes getting it ready, but it needs to sit in the fridge for 4 hours to taste just right. Enjoy my Almond Tiramisu!
1/4 cup amaretto liqueur (optional, for an extra almond kick)
1 package of ladyfingers
Unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting
Sliced almonds for garnish
For the Espresso Soaking Syrup

Instructions
In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of brewed espresso.
Heat over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved, and the mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat and let it cool.
In a mixing bowl, combine 8 oz of mascarpone cheese, 3/4 cup of heavy cream, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon of pure almond extract, and 1/2 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract.
Use an electric mixer to whip the mixture until it becomes thick and fluffy.
Start by dipping the ladyfingers one by one into the cooled espresso-soaking syrup. Make sure not to soak them for too long; a quick dip is sufficient.
Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers at the bottom of your serving dish.
Spread half of the creamy filling over the ladyfingers.
Repeat the process with another layer of soaked ladyfingers and the remaining creamy filling.
Finish with a dusting of unsweetened cocoa powder and a garnish of sliced almonds.
Cover your almond tiramisu with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or, ideally, overnight. This allows the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
Notes
u003cliu003eI use brewed coffee for the best coffee taste in this dessert.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eWhen you put the cookies in the coffee, don't keep them in there for too long. Just a quick dip is perfect, so they don't get too wet.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eWhen making the creamy filling, taste it as you go and add sugar until it's just how you like it. Some people like it really sweet, while others like me like it less sweet.u003c/liu003eu003cliu003eIf you really like almonds, you can add a special almond liquid u003cstrongu003eamarettou003c/strongu003e to the coffee. It gives your dessert an even stronger almond taste.u003c/liu003e
