Classic Chicken Cacciatore

Start by seasoning your chicken thighs with salt and black pepper.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Place the chicken thighs in the hot oil, skin side down. Sear them until they develop a golden-brown crust, usually about 4-5 minutes per side. Once done, remove them from the skillet and set them aside.

In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sliced bell peppers. Sauté them until they become soft and translucent, which should take around 5 minutes.

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
