Caramel Apple Sticks
Fresh, crisp apples 1 cup granulated sugar 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces 1/2 cup heavy cream 1 teaspoon vanilla extract A pinch of salt
Wash the apples in the sink and Dry them well with a towel.
Push popsicle sticks into the middle of the apples. This makes a handle for dipping.
Get a big pot and turn on the stove to medium heat.
Put sugar in the pot and stir with a wooden spoon. Keep stirring until it's a golden-brown liquid. This might take 5-7 minutes, so be patient.
