This Korean mung bean sprouts salad banchan recipe (숙주나물 무침) has a special place in my heart. It uses the bean sprouts that someone might normally think of with Pad Thai, but you can literally use any kind of bean sprout. Even sprout your own beans, if you'd like! It's one of The Kid's (and my own) favorite Korean banchans (those are the little Korean side dishes you get when you have Korean food). Maybe we just both like bean sprouts, or maybe it's something about the satisfying texture.

Jimmy Johns recently discontinued their Kickin' Ranch, a cult favorite. I love their sandwiches and especially this sauce, so I had to recreate it. Introducing my Jimmy John's Kickin' Ranch copycat recipe. Kickin' Ranch can be used as a dip for chips or veggies, a condiment for sandwiches, and a drizzle over chicken. Want more heat? Then add more peppers and pepper juice, or give it a bit of cayenne pepper. Want it more dip-y and less sauce-y? Then reduce the half and half. Easy!

Do you like peanut butter and banana sandwiches? That's why I also love this chocolate and peanut butter cake with bananas. Peanut butter and banana sandwiches remind me of fond childhood memories when I ate them every single day. Even better with some chocolate to go with them. You have all of those wonderful flavors melded into one layered cake. This cake is simple to make, too, because I used wafers (I used vanilla) soaked in milk instead of making a graham cracker crust.

The middle daughter had a birthday this past week, and I whipped (haha!) these easy peanut butter cupcakes with whipped chocolate frosting for her. These cupcakes are "reversed" from the traditional chocolate cupcake with peanut butter frosting. It's a simple, yet delicious recipe. The best part is that neither the frosting, the ganache center, nor the cupcake itself is overly sweet. Although I appreciate a shot of sugar, I can't handle cupcakes that lay on the sweet too much.

These super cute Easter foods to make are totally awesome!! Easter is one the best crafty times of year, even above Valentine's Day (my favorite holiday) and Christmas, but other than making crafts or hiding Easter plastic eggs (with money inside!) for the kids, I don't go all out with making food. None of these tutorials are for dyeing Easter eggs - only for some yummy treats.  I'm in awe of the creativity and thoughtfulness of these Easter foods. :)  Hoppy Easter, everyone!

This year, I wanted to try a new twist on an old classic: a Fireball Cinnamon Whisky Pumpkin Pie recipe. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. My brother-in-law does the cooking, and everyone else brings the desserts. I was a bit apprehensive about making this pie, wondering if the boldness of the Fireball would overpower the traditional pumpkin flavors. But, to my delight, the whisky melded perfectly, adding a warm, spicy depth that enhanced the pie's sweetness. #PumpkinSpice #PSL

This veal stew recipe with potatoes and peas is a nutritious and delicious. I have a love affair with soups and stews. Throw me up some of that liquid yumminess with a good bread, and I am in culinary bliss. Veal is a lean meat, which makes it a great stew candidate. 여러분 (everyone in Korean), this meat is so tender that it breaks apart with your fork. Add the potatoes and peas, and gently bake at a low temperature. Cook in a Dutch oven, a cast iron pot, or in a slow cooker for a delicious meal.

Today I am going to show you how to make colored deviled eggs for Easter. These eggs came out absolutely gorgeous! They are also really easy to make. If you don't want to use my deviled egg recipe, you can substitute your own. The secret is in how much food coloring to use for each egg set. But don't worry, I have the exact drop measurements you need to make a rainbow of Easter egg colors. I gave my eggs bold colors (instead of a more pastel palette) because I wanted them to pop on the plate.

I was talking about my site the other day, and someone made a recipe request: McDonald's Sweet and Spicy Jam copycat recipe! It's the first request that I've had. This recipe took quite a while to figure out, mostly because I never had it. So I had to do a bunch of reading online of what it was supposed to taste like, along with the ingredients list on the little container itself. If you've ever tasted it, give me a heads up about how authentic it is. Either way, I've heard it's pretty good!

Awesome McDonald’s Sweet and Spicy Jam Sauce Copycat Recipe

This is a wonderful recipe for how to make homemade strawberry jam. You gotta trust me, it's so much better than the store bought stuff, which contains all sorts of preservative and other yucky stuff. And it only has three ingredients: strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. I love to collect strawberries from my patch of evergreens. They are bursting with flavor ... but I don't get that many of them. I freeze them and make this jam. But don't worry, you can use store bought strawberries, too.
